From "way out West", and "way down South" in Utah, in the United States, there is an original Western Folk sound
experience. This is the Western Folk Trio named "LATIGO". This trio of seasoned artists, with 30+ years each of
individual music performance experience, have come together to share their artistry and interpretation of a
genuine and original folk acoustic style.These musicians have each dedicated themselves to the local
community, and to their families, and now share their joy for musical expression by performing throughout the

Ken Stevens brings his talents and energy to Western Folk songs in a way that makes you "proud to be a
cowboy". His experiences with many years of performance in groups and as a solo artist shine through each and
every song. The songs that he has written are heartfelt and from real-life experiences with the land in Southern
Utah. Ken's songs have won awards and acclaim by his peers in the Western Music Association and Academy
of Western Artists. Ken has written many original songs, and some are ready to be heard on the new LATIGO
album entitled "A COWBOY'S LIFE".

festival in Kanab, Utah, and the 2007 Heber City Cowboy Poetry Gathering. He has also helped to complete the
final touches for the new CD Album from LATIGO, "A COWBOY'S LIFE".
